It's really similar to the node editors used for compositing in 3d animation programs and stuff so I think a lot of the folks working on TV shows and stuff that this is aimed for probably use systems like this a lot anyway. That said it's another one of those features in Toon Boom that when you first look at it it's like "well shit, what do I do"
Well, I now know the only thing that itched me of your animations (at times). Projecting yourself in any kind of work/craft is unavoidable, but letting seep any thought or whim may affect the integrity of a particular idea that's going to be exposed, and it doesn't matter if they are related to such idea.
And, with more irony, many people love to project their own thoughts in any creation, regardless of how much straight its delivery is done. So I think the Detail you mentioned is something that is more "luck" based rather than a issue from your end. The actual public for these tournaments isn't going to be the same, and I think that in this case is what it matters the most (judges are mostly the same however, so that can be considered in your favor XD).
I do think both animations for the finals are far better than last year's.
Very cool! I want to try some of this on my next animation!
"Think Instagram."
Another piece of solid animation advice from Dave. I personally can't wait for the day that I can just import my GoAnimations directly into Instagram.
whoah holy crap SELL THIS IDEA AND MAKE MILLIONS
Did you win Nata
Because you seemed like it
Not sure yet. Technically, we still have until tonight to make changes to our movies before judging starts.
Very cool cartoon man
Thanks!
what's wrong with pouring your feelings into your animations?
A-Genius
lol but you still can do these effects on adobe flash ! just covert your stuff to movieclip and deal with it normally! but it was pretty helpful!
Pahgawk
That is true, but the problem I have with movieclips is that while you're adding the effects on the main timeline, you can't look through all the frames. I wish there was a version of a graphic symbol that you can apply blend modes to.
